Grape seed extract in Payarmin: how much, and what for?
Grape seed extract is the second of 22 lines in Payarmin's 200 mg proprietary blend. The label hides its amount, but the order caps it at 100 mg per 1 mL serving, and an even split would be about 9.09 mg. Research on grape seed looks at cholesterol and blood pressure, not blood sugar.

The amount01
How much grape seed extract is in Payarmin?
The label does not say how much grape seed extract Payarmin holds. It says only that the whole blend weighs 200 mg and that grape seed is listed second.
A blend listed most to least by weight lets the first line weigh up to the whole total. The second line can weigh at most half of it. That puts grape seed at 100 mg or less in each 1 mL serving. The rule that allows the hidden split is 21 CFR 101.36 (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)).
It can also weigh far less. Split evenly across 22 lines, each gets about 9.09 mg. The truth lies somewhere between a trace and 100 mg.
| Case | Grape seed | How we got it |
|---|---|---|
| Ceiling | 100 mg | 200 mg divided by place 2 |
| Even split | 9.09 mg | 200 mg divided by 22 lines |
| Printed on the bottle | Not published | Only the 200 mg total appears |
The research02
What does grape seed extract do, according to studies?
Reviews of small studies suggest grape seed extract may affect LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, and diastolic but not systolic blood pressure. Those findings are not definite (NCCIH, Grape Seed Extract).
Notice what is missing. The source we rely on says nothing about glucose or insulin. So the second line of Payarmin has no blood sugar study that we can point to.
Trials of grape seed often used 100 to 300 mg a day. Payarmin's ceiling of 100 mg at one dropper is the bottom of that range, and only if the blend is packed with grape seed. At an even split it is about one eleventh of that bottom figure.
Extract strength is another unknown. A grape seed extract can be made at different concentrations, and a ratio only reflects how much plant went in, not potency (Monagas et al., Front Pharmacol 2022). This label prints no ratio, so we cannot compare it with a study extract milligram for milligram.
Put simply, the number on a trial and the number in the bottle are not the same kind of number.
- Marketed as: a source of plant polyphenols.
- Studied for: blood fats and diastolic pressure, in small trials.
- Not shown: any effect on blood sugar from a 200 mg blend.
A day with the drops03
What would grape seed add up to across a day of Payarmin?
Over a day, grape seed from Payarmin is at most 100 mg at one dropper or 200 mg at two, if a dropper holds 1 mL.
The label prints no dropper volume, so that 1 mL is our assumption. Use the lower figure if your dropper holds less.
- Morning
One dropper before a meal, the timing the sales page prefers. Grape seed ceiling so far: 100 mg.
- Afternoon
If you take a second dropper, the ceiling doubles to 200 mg. Nothing in the label asks for more than two.
- Evening
No more drops. Read the caution below if you take a blood thinner.
The label caution reads: "Do not exceed recommended dose."
Who should ask first04
Who should check with a doctor before grape seed extract?
Anyone pregnant, nursing, under 18 or living with a medical condition should see a physician first, which is the label's own advice.
Grape seed extract is generally well tolerated. Little is known about its safety in pregnancy or breastfeeding (NCCIH, Grape Seed Extract). Our profile table also notes it may add to blood thinners, so people on warfarin or similar drugs should ask a pharmacist.
A supplement never replaces a prescription. Do not stop or change one without your prescriber.
Grape seed is only one of 22 lines. The caffeine from guarana and green tea matters more for many readers: green tea and guarana in Payarmin.

What does the grape seed label profile show?
The profile lists the label name, the place, the ceiling, the studied dose and the main caution for the grape seed line.
The studied dose comes from published trials. It is not the amount in the bottle.

FAQ07
Grape seed extract in Payarmin: common questions
What is the most grape seed extract Payarmin can contain?
At most 100 mg per 1 mL serving. Grape seed is the second of 22 lines, and a line in place two cannot outweigh half of the 200 mg blend. The real amount could be much lower, and the label does not print it.
Is grape seed extract in Payarmin for blood sugar?
Not that we can show. The research we cite on grape seed covers LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and diastolic blood pressure, with limited certainty (NCCIH, Grape Seed Extract). It says nothing about glucose, so we do not link this line to blood sugar.
How does Payarmin's grape seed compare to studied doses?
Many trials used 100 to 300 mg a day. Payarmin's ceiling is 100 mg at one dropper, and an even split gives about 9.09 mg. Only a very heavy grape seed share would reach the low end of those trials.
Does grape seed extract interact with blood thinners?
It may add to blood thinners, so people on warfarin or similar drugs should ask a pharmacist before using any product containing it. The small amount in Payarmin may be low, but the label does not let us confirm that.
Is grape seed extract safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Little is known about its safety in pregnancy or breastfeeding (NCCIH, Grape Seed Extract). The Payarmin label tells pregnant or nursing mothers to consult a physician before use, and that is the sensible step here.
Does the Payarmin label say what part of the grape is used?
Yes. It names Grape (Vitis vinifera) Seed Extract, so the seed. It prints no extract ratio, so we cannot say how concentrated it is (Monagas et al., Front Pharmacol 2022).
