How big is the chromium gap?
Very big. One mL of Payarmin has 0.7 mcg of chromium, which is 0.35% of a 200 mcg dose.
A 1997 trial of 180 adults with type 2 diabetes saw lower fasting glucose at 1,000 mcg a day (NIH ODS, Chromium). A 2010 trial at the same dose found no significant change.
