What chromium picolinate dose do studies use?
Hundreds of micrograms a day. NIH describes trials at 200 to 1,000 mcg, and chromium-only products often give 200-500 mcg (NIH ODS, Chromium).
Adults meet intake with 20-35 mcg a day, so studies used amounts many times higher than food needs. Results were mixed. A 1997 trial of 180 adults with type 2 diabetes saw lower fasting glucose at 1,000 mcg, while a 2010 trial at 1,000 mcg found no significant change.

Can I get 200 mcg of chromium from Payarmin?
Not from the label amount. Reaching 200 mcg at 0.7 mcg per mL would take about 286 mL, nearly ten bottles, and the label limits you to 1 or 2 droppers a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Does chromium picolinate help healthy people with glucose?
A 2016 review found chromium does not help glucose in healthy people (NIH ODS, Chromium). Slight drops appeared in some people with diabetes at studied doses, of unclear clinical meaning. Ask your doctor before using it.
