Blood Sugar Support Ingredients: Which of Payarmin's 23 Lines Are Studied?

Quick answer

Blood sugar support ingredients are plants, minerals and amino acids sold for glucose or metabolism. Payarmin lists 23 label lines in four groups, but only chromium, gymnema, ginseng, African mango and green tea have glucose research, and the 200 mg blend leaves each far below the amounts studied.

Which ingredients are sold as blood sugar support?

Sellers use the phrase for any mineral, herb or amino acid they link to glucose, appetite or energy. The phrase has no legal definition.

Payarmin's label shows 23 lines. Sorted by type, that is 1 mineral, 12 plant extracts, 2 other compounds and 8 amino acids.

Which of them have glucose research?

Five lines have some glucose research: chromium, gymnema, Panax ginseng, African mango and green tea. The other 18 have none for blood sugar, or none we can verify.

The research is thin. A 2019 review of chromium found slight drops of unclear meaning (NIH ODS, Chromium). A review of ginseng found about 5.6 mg/dL lower fasting glucose and no A1C change (Shishtar et al., PLoS One 2014). Gymnema trials were small, and robust ones are missing (Drugs.com, Gymnema monograph).

Studied does not mean proven

No trial tested Payarmin itself. Every number above comes from a single ingredient taken at its own dose.

Can a 1 mL serving hold the studied amounts?

No. The blend weighs 200 mg for all 22 lines, so even the first line cannot reach the doses used in trials for most of these five.

Because the list runs most to least by weight, line k can weigh at most 200/k mg. Gymnema is 8th, so it tops out at 25 mg against 200 to 400 mg studied. It may weigh far less.

How should you judge a blood sugar support ingredient list?

Ask three things: is each amount printed, does that amount match a trial, and was the finished product tested? Payarmin passes none of the three.

Its strengths are a full list and a 60-day results-or-refund guarantee. For the full checklist, see our guide on comparing blood sugar supplements.

Keep taking your prescribed medicine

Never stop or change a prescription because of a supplement. Chromium, gymnema and ginseng may add to diabetes drugs, so ask your doctor first.

FAQ01

More about blood sugar support ingredients

Which Payarmin ingredient has the most glucose research?

Chromium and ginseng have the most, though both studied larger amounts than the drops hold. Chromium trials ran 200 to 1,000 mcg a day against 0.7 mcg on the label. Ginseng trials used root, while Payarmin lists aerial parts.

Does the order of the ingredient list show how much of each is inside?

Only loosely. The label lists the 22 blend lines from most to least by weight, so maca is the heaviest and L-carnitine the lightest. It shows rank, not milligrams, and a heavy line can still be tiny.
